Maiden, Mother, Creatress
Embracing and Healing Our Female Lineage
Embracing and Healing our Female Lineage
A weekend Retreat with Sarah Marshank and Heather Ash Amara
We are all daughters, born wanted or unwanted, welcomed or scorned by our mothers. In our cells we carry our mother’s, and her mother’s, burden of hurts, betrayals, and trauma. Without awareness, we pass these heavy energies to our daughters and the young women around us, unwillingly setting them up to struggle with the next generation of low self-worth and high self-abuse.
We also carry a long matriarchal line of superpowers. With awareness we embody these gifts as our heritage and take responsibility for bringing them into a world that desperately needs them.
We believe every woman has the capacity, and the calling to heal herself of the traumas and embrace the powers passed down from mother to daughter through the ages. And as each of us heals we help heal the wounds of our ancestors. As we heal the wounds of ourselves and our ancestors we also help heal all the women and girls we touch in our lives: daughters, granddaughters, goddaughters, sisters, friends.
During this Mother’s Day weekend we will gather as daughters of mothers, dedicated to healing. We invite you to bring yourself. We invite you to bring your daughter, your mother, your sisters, your friends. Together we will create a sacred circle of healing and celebration that ripples out from the present to touch the past and the future. Together we will reconnect to the larger web of women’s matriarchal wisdom. Together we will reclaim our feminine power, purpose, and pleasure.
All women are welcome to join in this dynamic, playful, ceremonial weekend of deep transformation and reclamation of our maiden, mother, and creative selves.
