Our capacity to to engage with life with an ethical and moral integrity calls for our engaged effort. The joy of showing up for the art of growing up brings a quality of life unimagined. Plus it's good for the planet and all living things.
This seminar is an opportunity to get curious about how we grow as adults. It’s a given that if we live long enough we will age, but there is no guarantee we will mature in regards to character and the consequences of our morality, ethics, knowledge, or wisdom. It appears to be that these things take an intentional effort … and the acquiring of a certain set of skills and capacities.
Wonder what these skills and capacities might be?
In this two-hour seminar you will:
- Explore the definition and interpretation of the field of Adult Development.
- Learn a way to map growth.
- Practice identifying where you are on the trajectory of your own development.
- Experiment with some tools and techniques that can help you grow.
This seminar is meant to be an introduction to Adult Development. In addition to the live recorded seminar on March 30 from 1 – 3- pm pacific, there will be a Q & A session on Friday, April 1, from 12 – 1:30 pm pacific. Participants will be encouraged to challenge and practice their learning once the seminar has ended, and are invited to bring that learning process into the Selfistry community for ongoing exploration and learning.
